Welcome to Jérôme Cafè, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Bari, Italy, located at Via Alessandro Maria Calefati, 61. This enchanting cafe is more than just a stop for coffee; it’s a delightful escape where culinary dreams come alive. With a warm, bustling atmosphere, Jérôme Cafè has become a beloved fixture amongst locals and visitors alike, drawing them in with its tempting array of offerings.

Step inside, and you are greeted by the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee and baked goods that beckon from behind the counter. Patrons rave about the cappuccino and the exquisite pistachio brioche. One enthusiastic customer, Michelle Cerqua, couldn’t help but describe these items as “the stuff of dreams.” It’s no surprise, given their fine preparation and attention to detail, that the café maintains a steady stream of customers eager to indulge.

For those with a penchant for pastries, the red velvet cake has garnered specific praise, noted by Melika Rahimipour as “the best red velvet ever.” The vibrant flavor and delicate texture resonate well, contributing to an overall dining experience that feels both intimate and memorable. For visitors looking for a break from shopping, patrons like Sarah AB have praised this cafe as an ideal retreat, enhancing the overall experience with its clean facilities and inviting vibe.

While the service may not always come with a personal touch, as noted by Michelle, the efficiency and speed of food delivery ensure that you won’t be left waiting long for your culinary delights. Careful attention is given to maintaining a well-stocked selection of fresh products, especially in the mornings, where customers like Daria Denisa Oltean have enjoyed an impressive assortment, making each visit feel unique and worthwhile.

In addition to its standout beverages and baked goods, Jérôme Cafè offers a variety of sandwiches that complement your coffee break perfectly, further enriching your experience in this lovely eatery. It's a space where you can savor the essence of Italian culture, with every sip and bite telling a story of passion and tradition.

When you find yourself in Bari, make sure to take a moment to indulge at Jérôme Cafè. This is not just a cafe; it's a testament to the joy of sharing delicious food in good company. Whether you come for the hot chocolate—the best of the Puglia region, as Mine Orhon claims—or to sit and watch the world go by, you are in for an unforgettable experience.

Visitor Testimonials (1739)

The cappuccino and pistachio brioche were the stuff of dreams! They had a ton of other options as well but this definitely caught my eye and I have no regrets. The place itself is also quite beautiful and busy at pretty much all times from what I could see. I've come back a couple of times since I arrived. Service happens fast but does not always come with a smile, which quite honestly, I personally don't care about as long as I get the food/ drink in a reasonable time (it's not a fast food restaurant) and it's delicious. This place fits that bill and then some!

The best red velvet ever!! Everything was amazing—the cake, the drinks, the vibe. Honestly one of the best red velvets I’ve ever had! The only downside was that every 5 minutes someone came in asking for donations, which got a bit annoying .

The products are very delicious and tasty and the prices are reasonable. We ate in three mornings and everything was great. One day I went after lunch but it was full and the waiters couldn't cope and there weren't many products left. In the morning the windows were full of fresh products.

Excellent place to rest from shopping, and a very clean bathroom. Anna this morning was very attentive and kind, and we had a great experience. I had a juice and my husband had a coffee. The sandwiches from the next table looked and smelled delicious, but we were here for a short stop.

When I was in Bari for 2 days, I tried so many different things and all of them is yummy Hot chocolate is the best of Puglia region

It is cosy nice place to visit with great choice, lots of people come in and out, so it is sometimes packed. Great location Great choice of pastry
